The project is developed by SJM. It contract from the Macau government and plans to build a casino resort on the Cotai site.

The Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) is a hotel, casino, retail and entertainment complex in Cotai, Macau with a total floor area of about 500,000 sqm comprising 4 nos. 5-star hotel towers above a 3-level common podium housing casino, retail, food and beverage and entertainment facilities. The casino will operate 700 gaming tables and 1,000 slot machines and the five-star  hotels will provide about 2,000 hotel rooms.
