The Tsing Yi Complex is a multifunction block which houses a market, a library and an indoor recreation centre.

 

The Market, on the ground floor of the Complex has 76 stalls, covers 2,035 sqm and is air-conditioned.

 

The Public Library, on the first floor of the Complex, which has a floor area of 2,000 sqm and a stock of 140,000 items of books and audio-visual materials. Its range of facilities include an Adult Library, a Children's Library, a Quick Reference Section, a Multi-media Resource Centre, a Computer and Information Centre, an Extension Activities Room, a Newspapers and Periodicals Section and a Students' Study Room.

 

The Indoor Recreation Centre is an air-conditioned venue. Facilities provided included a multi-purpose main court (which can either be converted into two basketball courts, two volleyball courts or eight badminton courts), four squash courts, a gymnasium, a dancing room, a multi-purpose room, a conference room, a first-aid room, changing rooms and washrooms, as well as a spectator stand which can accommodate an audience of 500.
