The Hong Kong Institute of Education is located at Ting Kok Road, Tai Po and   It was designed to accommodate 5,000 students.

The campus comprises an administration building, an academic complex, an indoor sports and amenities building and other outdoor sports facilities. The academic complex consists of a central facilities building and academic blocks where the teaching facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, studios, workshops, resource centres and computer rooms, are located. The central facilities building accommodates the Library, the computer centre, a 600-seat lecture theatre, student activity rooms and a canteen.
